I started painting primarily after retirement and like to experiment with different directions in painting. My roots are in Montana and much of my inspiration for paintings has come from "Big Sky" landscapes.  Nature supplies unlimited sources of inspiration for my work and watercolor is perhaps my favorite media as it combines spontaneity and fluidity combined with rich natural texture.  

My work background includes multiple career fields of Industrial Design, Industrialized Housing Design, Facilities Planning and as a Design Consultant.  I taught design at the Philadelphia College of Art. Various corporations I have worked for include: Philco Ford, Boise Cascade, Guerdon Industries, ISC Systems and I am retired from BOEING. I also hold several design patents.
